Our readers may remember the Hostile Takeover that Activision gave Call of Duty developers Infinity Ward. In a new twist in this ongoing saga, it would seem that evil empire Activision is refusing to payout royalties to the remaining staff at Infinity Ward, effectively holding the remaining team members hostage. Coming to the Farm by way of Kotaku, their sources are rumored to be saying:
Sources tell Kotaku that Modern Warfare publisher Activision is delaying paying Infinity Ward employees their royalties. Every employee who worked on Modern Warfare 2 is apparently in for royalties. Traditionally, Infinity Ward has paid staff regular or even “low” salaries, sources tell Kotaku, but offer ridiculous royalties to compensate.
and this:
Sources tell Kotaku that Activision continues to delay royalties to other employees in order to keep them at the company. The morale at Infinity Ward is reportedly extremely low.
What do you guys think? SFG thinks if these rumors are true, that no matter how you slice and dice this, Activision is living up to its stigmata of being the most greedy and corrupt publisher in the business. We hope that this mess of a cow patty gets cleaned up soon.

they probably make them all strip down to thongs and belittle them
seeing as how it is activision, I would imagine it is a whip with spikes Castlevania style
there is alot of talent there and alot of effort but i just don’t know if the effort comes from someone standing on a rock above them with a whip
its a shame really,Will, because there is great talent there, but we as consumers never get to see it b/c of the greed. I was hoping that with the purchase of Blizzard, Activision would learn a few things, now I am scared that Blizzard may learn some bad habits from activision.
They are petty and greedy. The developers are miserable and it really shows in their work. Has any one played an activision game lately? They are all big and shiny(looking at you Michael Bay) but their games lack the feeling of heart and soul. Its like the developers are the guys at the carnival who just draw caricatures all day instead of a artist who actully puts time and thought into their project.
